XMPlaneFromPoints method

Computes the equation of a plane constructed from three points in the plane.

Syntax


XMVECTOR XMPlaneFromPoints(
  [in] XMVECTOR Point1,
  [in] XMVECTOR Point2,
  [in] XMVECTOR Point3
);

Parameters

Point1 [in]

3D vector describing a point in the plane.

Point2 [in]

3D vector describing a point in the plane.

Point3 [in]

3D vector describing a point in the plane.

Return value

Returns a vector whose components are the coefficients of the plane (A, B, C, D) for the plane equation
