XMConvertHalfToFloat method

Converts a half-precision floating-point value to a single-precision floating-point value.

Syntax


float XMConvertHalfToFloat(
  [in] HALF Value
);

Parameters

Value [in]

HALF value to convert.

Return value

Returns the single-precision floating-point value closest to Value.

Remarks

Platform Requirements

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 with the Windows SDK for Windows 8. Supported for Win32 desktop apps, Windows Store apps, and Windows Phone 8 apps.
