PhotoCaptureDevice.GetPreviewBufferYCbCr method

Copies the current viewfinder frame into a buffer for further manipulation.

pixels (out parameter)
Type: System.Byte[] [.NET] | Platform::Array<uint8> [C++]

The YCbCr pixel data.

When this method is called on the emulator, it returns a buffer that is filled with the color green.

Note Photo data is written to the buffer using the NV12 format.
