XmlReader::LocalName Property
When overridden in a derived class, gets the local name of the current node.

Property Value
Type: System::String^The name of the current node with the prefix removed. For example, LocalName is book for the element <bk:book>.
For node types that do not have a name (like Text, Comment, and so on), this property returns String.Empty.

| InvalidOperationException | An XmlReader method was called before a previous asynchronous operation finished. In this case, InvalidOperationException is thrown with the message “An asynchronous operation is already in progress.” |
The following example displays the local name of each node, and, if they exist, the prefix and namespace URI.
The example uses the file, book2.xml, as input.
