XmlNamespaceManager::DefaultNamespace Property

 

Gets the namespace URI for the default namespace.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

public:
property String^ DefaultNamespace {
	virtual String^ get();
}

Property Value

Type: System::String^

Returns the namespace URI for the default namespace, or String.Empty if there is no default namespace.

This method is equivalent to calling LookupNamespace(String.Empty).

The following example displays the default namespace, if one exists.

if ( nsmgr->HasNamespace( String::Empty ) )
{
   Console::WriteLine( nsmgr->DefaultNamespace );
}
