XmlConvert::ToSingle Method (String^)

 

Converts the String to a Single equivalent.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

)

Parameters

s
Type: System::String^

The string to convert.

Return Value

Type: System::Single

A Single equivalent of the string.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

s is null.

FormatException

s is not in the correct format.

OverflowException

s represents a number less than Single::MinValue or greater than Single::MaxValue.

If s is INF or -INF, this method returns Single.PositiveInfinity or Single.NegativeInfinity respectively.
