XmlSerializationWriter::FromXmlNCName Method (String^)

 

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Encodes a valid XML local name by replacing characters that are not valid with escape sequences.

Parameters

ncName
Type: System::String^

A string to be used as a local (unqualified) XML name.

Return Value

Type: System::String^

An encoded string.

The protected members of the XmlSerializationWriter class are intended for use by derived classes that are used internally within the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure.

The FromXmlNCName method is static.
