XmlSerializationReader::EnsureArrayIndex Method (Array^, Int32, Type^)

 

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Ensures that a given array, or a copy, is large enough to contain a specified index.

Namespace:   System.Xml.Serialization
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

Array^ EnsureArrayIndex(
	Array^ a,
	int index,
	Type^ elementType
)

Parameters

a
Type: System::Array^

The Array that is being checked.

index
Type: System::Int32

The required index.

elementType
Type: System::Type^

The Type of the array's elements.

Return Value

Type: System::Array^

The existing Array, if it is already large enough; otherwise, a new, larger array that contains the original array's elements.

The protected members of XmlSerializationReader are intended for use only by derived classes that are used internally within the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure.
