VerticalAlignment Enumeration

Describes how a child element is vertically positioned or stretched within a parent's layout slot.

Namespace:  System.Windows
Assembly:  System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: Not mapped to an xmlns.

Member nameDescription
TopThe element is aligned to the top of the parent's layout slot.
CenterThe element is aligned to the center of the parent's layout slot.
BottomThe element is aligned to the bottom of the parent's layout slot.
StretchThe element is stretched to fill the entire layout slot of the parent element.

Height and Width properties that are explicitly set on an element take precedence over the Stretch property value.
