Remarks

You create a class that derives from the UriMapperBase class when you need to implement customized logic for converting one URI into another URI. To implement customized URI mapping logic, you override the MapUri method and specify in that method how the URI is converted.

To use a customized URI mapping class in a Windows Phone application, you must specify that class in the UriMapper of the Frame object.

The UriMapper class derives from UriMapperBase and provides a basic implementation for mapping a requested URI to a different URI.
