GeneralTransform3D Class

Provides generalized transformation support for 3-D objects.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Media.Media3D
Assembly:  PresentationCore (in PresentationCore.dll)

'Declaration
<LocalizabilityAttribute(LocalizationCategory.None, Readability := Readability.Unreadable)> _
Public MustInherit Class GeneralTransform3D _
	Inherits Animatable _
	Implements IFormattable
'Usage
Dim instance As GeneralTransform3D
This class is abstract; see Inheritance Hierarchy for derived non-abstract classes usable in XAML.

Transformations between 3-D objects take place through the TransformToAncestor and TransformToDescendant methods, both of which return a GeneralTransform3D object. In the case that the transformation between the 3-D objects may be represented by a 4x4 matrix, the methods return an instance of the MatrixTransform3D class. The GeneralTransform3D class can transform a Point3D to a Point3D and a Rect3D to a Rect3D.

GeneralTransform3D is introduced in the .NET Framework version 3.5. For more information, see .NET Framework 3.5 Architecture.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
