MatrixConverter Class

Converts instances of other types to and from a Matrix.

Namespace: System.Windows.Media
Assembly: WindowsBase (in windowsbase.dll)

public final class MatrixConverter extends TypeConverter

Use a MatrixConverter to create a Matrix from an attribute string; use a MatrixValueSerializer to create a XAML representation of a Matrix structure.

The following example uses a MatrixConverter to convert a string into a Matrix.

private Matrix matrixConverterExample()

    MatrixConverter mConverter = new MatrixConverter();
    Matrix matrixResult = new Matrix();
    string string2 = "10,20,30,40,50,60";

    matrixResult = (Matrix)mConverter.ConvertFromString(string2);
    // matrixResult is equal to (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60)

    return matrixResult;


Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
