DataGridView::OnFontChanged Method (EventArgs^)

Type: System::EventArgs^

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

In addition to raising the FontChanged event, this method uses the new value of the Font property to update the Font properties of DataGridViewCellStyle objects returned by the DefaultCellStyle, ColumnHeadersDefaultCellStyle, and RowHeadersDefaultCellStyleproperties.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
