InkCanvas.CopySelection Method

Copies selected strokes and/or elements to the Clipboard.

public void CopySelection()

The InkCanvas can support Clipboard data in Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) format, Ink Serialized Format (ISF), and text format. Strokes to the Clipboard are both Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) format, Ink Serialized Format (ISF). 

The following example selects two elements on an InkCanvas and copies them to the Clipboard. This example assumes that there is a TextBox called textbox1 and a Button called button1 - and thatboth controls are child elements of the InkCanvas.

inkCanvas1.Select(new UIElement[] { textbox1, button1 });
inkCanvas1.CopySelection();
