WebPartManager::OnWebPartsDisconnecting Method (WebPartConnectionsCancelEventArgs^)

Raises the WebPartsDisconnecting event, which indicates that two WebPart or server or user controls in a WebPartZoneBase zone are in the process of ending a connection.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnWebPartsDisconnecting(
	WebPartConnectionsCancelEventArgs^ e
)

The OnWebPartsDisconnecting method raises the WebPartsDisconnecting event, which occurs when two controls are ending a connection. The method provides the opportunity to cancel the disconnection process. If the connection is successfully removed, the WebPartsDisconnected event follows.

Page developers can provide a custom handler for the associated event by adding the OnWebPartsDisconnecting attribute to the <asp:webpartmanager> element on a Web page, and then assigning a custom method name to the attribute.

Notes to Inheritors:

Developers who create derived WebPartManager classes can override the OnWebPartsDisconnecting method to customize the event handling.
