AdCreatedEventArgs Class


Provides data for the AdCreated event of the AdRotator control. This class cannot be inherited.

Initializes a new instance of the AdCreatedEventArgs class.


Gets a System.Collections.IDictionary object that contains all the advertisement properties for the currently displayed advertisement.


Gets or sets the alternate text displayed in the AdRotator control when the advertisement image is unavailable. Browsers that support the ToolTips feature display this text as a ToolTip for the advertisement.


Gets or sets the URL of an image to display in the AdRotator control.


Gets or sets the Web page to display when the AdRotator control is clicked.


Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object.(Inherited from Object.)


Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection.(Inherited from Object.)


Serves as the default hash function. (Inherited from Object.)


Gets the Type of the current instance.(Inherited from Object.)


Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.(Inherited from Object.)


Returns a string that represents the current object.(Inherited from Object.)

The AdCreated event is raised when the AdRotator control displays an advertisement on the page.

The following code example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the AdCreated event. It gets the URL associated with the advertisement when the AdRotator control gets created and displays it below the control. This example requires the XML file (Ads.xml) listed in the example below.
