ThemeableAttribute::IsTypeThemeable Method (Type^)

 

Returns a value indicating whether the Type passed to the method supports themes.

Parameters

type
Type: System::Type^

The Type to test for themes support.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if the Type supports themes and control skins; otherwise, false.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The type parameter is null.

The ThemeableAttribute class maintains a static internal catalog of types that support themes, and this method checks the catalog to determine whether the specified Type is represented there. If it is not, the method examines the AttributeCollection object associated with the Type for the ThemeableAttribute attribute to determine whether themes are supported.
