RouteCollection::SetItem Method (Int32, RouteBase^)

 

Replaces the route at the specified index.

Namespace:   System.Web.Routing
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

	int index,
	RouteBase^ item
) override

Parameters

index
Type: System::Int32

The zero-based index of the route to replace.

item
Type: System.Web.Routing::RouteBase^

The route to add at the specified index.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

item is null.

ArgumentException

item is already in the collection.

When you add an unnamed route to the RouteCollection object, you cannot add a route that already is in the collection.

Use the GetReadLock method and the GetWriteLock method to make sure that you interact with the collection without conflicts from other processes.
