Task.IsCompleted Property

 

Gets whether this Task has completed.

Namespace:   System.Threading.Tasks
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public bool IsCompleted { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if the task has completed; otherwise false.

IsCompleted will return true when the task is in one of the three final states: RanToCompletion, Faulted, or Canceled.

System_CAPS_importantImportant

Retrieving the value of the Task.IsCompleted property does not block the calling thread until the task has completed.
