InstanceContextIdleCallback Delegate

Represents the method that is called when an System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext object has finished processing.

Namespace:  System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel (in System.ServiceModel.dll)

'Declaration
Public Delegate Sub InstanceContextIdleCallback ( _
	instanceContext As InstanceContext _
)

Parameters

instanceContext
Type: System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext
The instance context that has finished processing.

Use an InstanceContextIdleCallback to notify the runtime that an InstanceContextIdleCallback object has finished processing. When the InstanceContextIdleCallback object notifies the runtime that the InstanceContextIdleCallback has finished its work, calls IInstanceContextProvider.IsIdle once again. This cycle continues until IInstanceContextProvider.IsIdle returns true and the context is closed and recycled.

For more information, see NotifyIdle.
