ChannelDispatcher::ManualAddressing Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the channel dispatcher adds addressing headers to request-reply messages.

Namespace:   System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel (in System.ServiceModel.dll)

public:
property bool ManualAddressing {
	bool get();
	void set(bool value);
}

Property Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if the proxy does not add any addressing headers; otherwise, false. The default is false. See Remarks.

Exception Condition
InvalidOperationException

The communication object is in an Opening or Opened state.

ObjectDisposedException

The communication object is in a Closing or Closed state.

CommunicationObjectFaultedException

The communication object is in a Faulted state.

This property can only be set when the instance of the ChannelDispatcher is in the Created state, as this is the only state that is both mutable and not disposed.

Set the ManualAddressing property to true if you want to prevent the client from adding Message ID and ReplyTo addressing headers to request/response messages so that your application can control these headers.
