SecurityBindingElement::MessageSecurityVersion Property

 

Gets or sets the message security version.

Namespace:   System.ServiceModel.Channels

	void set(MessageSecurityVersion^ value);

Property Value

Type: System.ServiceModel::MessageSecurityVersion^

The MessageSecurityVersion object that represents the message security version.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

set with a null value.

The MessageSecurityVersion contains numerous properties that specify version numbers of different security specifications used when securing messages exchanged on the channel.

Once a SecurityBindingElement object is created, this property is immutable. Calling set on it does not change it.
