IInputChannel::LocalAddress Property

Gets the address on which the input channel receives messages.

Namespace:   System.ServiceModel.Channels
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel (in System.ServiceModel.dll)

property EndpointAddress^ LocalAddress {
	EndpointAddress^ get();
}

Property Value

Type: System.ServiceModel::EndpointAddress^

The EndpointAddress on which the input channel receives messages.

If this input channel does not have a standalone address (for example, it is the input-side of a client-initiated TCP channel), then this property is null.

This property can be used by higher-level channels for correlation purposes. For example, if a higher-level channel implements request-reply on top of a IDuplexChannel, it can use the LocalAddress property in the WS-Addressing ReplyTo header.

The following code illustrates how to implement this property:

public EndpointAddress LocalAddress
{
    get
    {
        return this.InnerChannel.LocalAddress;
    }
}
