ChannelFactoryBase.DefaultCloseTimeout Property

Gets the default interval of time provided for a close operation to complete.

Property Value

Type: System.TimeSpan
The default TimeSpan that specifies how long the close operation has to complete before timing out.

This value is set when creating a new ChannelFactoryBase object. The default ChannelFactoryBase() constructor sets the DefaultCloseTimeout property to a value of 1 minute. Use ChannelFactoryBase(IDefaultCommunicationTimeouts) if you want to specify another value for this timeout.
