SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute Class
[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]
Identifies types or members as security-critical and safely accessible by transparent code.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
The SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute type exposes the following members.
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute | Initializes a new instance of the SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute class. |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Equals | Infrastructure. Returns a value that indicates whether this instance is equal to a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.) |
![]() | Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetHashCode | Returns the hash code for this instance. (Inherited from Attribute.) |
![]() | GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | Match | When overridden in a derived class, returns a value that indicates whether this instance equals a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.) |
![]() | MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | ToString | Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.) |
Types or members that are marked with the SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute attribute can be accessed by types and members that are marked with the SecurityTransparentAttribute attribute or that are security-transparent by default. Code that is marked with the SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute must ensure that all inputs and outputs to and from security-critical code comply with security requirements. This code is subjected to a rigorous security audit to ensure that it can be used safely in a secure execution environment. The SecuritySafeCriticalAttribute is ignored when it is applied in user assemblies, that is, in assemblies that are not installed with the Windows Phone library assemblies and that are not signed with a specific strong-name key.
