X509Certificate::GetRawCertData Method ()

 

Returns the raw data for the entire X.509v3 certificate as an array of bytes.

Namespace:   System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

Return Value

Type: array<System::Byte>^

A byte array containing the X.509 certificate data.

The following example uses the GetRawCertData method to return a certificate's raw data as an array of bytes and displays it to the console.

{

   // The path to the certificate.
   String^ Certificate = "Certificate.cer";

   // Load the certificate into an X509Certificate object.
   X509Certificate^ cert = X509Certificate::CreateFromCertFile( Certificate );

   array<Byte>^results = cert->GetRawCertData();

   // Display the value to the console.
   System::Collections::IEnumerator^ enum0 = results->GetEnumerator();
