Marshal.QueryInterface Method

For apps that target Windows Phone OS 7.0 and 7.1, do not use any members of this type in your app. If you do, your code will throw a MethodAccessException. This type is security-critical, which restricts it to internal use by the .NET Framework for Windows Phone class library.

Requests a pointer to a specified interface from a COM object.

Parameters

pUnk
Type: System.IntPtr
The interface to be queried.
iid
Type: System.Guid %
A Guid, passed by reference, that is the interface identifier (IID) of the requested interface.
ppv
Type: System.IntPtr %
When this method returns, contains a reference to the returned interface.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
An HRESULT that indicates the success or failure of the call.
