ITypeInfo::GetVarDesc Method (Int32, IntPtr%)

 

Retrieves a VARDESC structure that describes the specified variable.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

void GetVarDesc(
	int index,
	[OutAttribute] IntPtr% ppVarDesc
)

Parameters

index
Type: System::Int32

The index of the variable description to return.

ppVarDesc
Type: System::IntPtr%

When this method returns, contains a reference to the VARDESC structure that describes the specified variable. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

The values of the ppVarDesc parameter can be accessed through the PtrToStructure method.
