IMoniker::CommonPrefixWith Method (IMoniker^, IMoniker^%)

 

Creates a new moniker based on the common prefix that this moniker shares with another moniker.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

void CommonPrefixWith(
	IMoniker^ pmkOther,
	[OutAttribute] IMoniker^% ppmkPrefix
)

Parameters

pmkOther
Type: System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes::IMoniker^

A reference to the IMoniker interface on another moniker to compare with the current moniker for a common prefix.

ppmkPrefix
Type: System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes::IMoniker^%

When this method returns, contains the moniker that is the common prefix of the current moniker and pmkOther. This parameter is passed uninitialized.
