_MemberInfo::Equals Method (Object^)

 

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Object::Equals method.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

bool Equals(
	Object^ other
)

Parameters

other
Type: System::Object^

The Object to compare with the current Object.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if the specified Object is equal to the current Object; otherwise, false.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code and should not be called from managed code.

The Object::Equals method determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
