_Assembly::GetManifestResourceInfo Method (String^)

 

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the GetManifestResourceInfo method.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

ManifestResourceInfo^ GetManifestResourceInfo(
	String^ resourceName
)

Parameters

resourceName
Type: System::String^

The case-sensitive name of the resource.

Return Value

Type: System.Reflection::ManifestResourceInfo^

A ManifestResourceInfo object populated with information about the resource's topology, or null if the resource is not found.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The GetManifestResourceInfo method returns information about how the given resource has been persisted.
