ResXFileRef.Converter Class

For a list of all members of this type, see ResXFileRef.Converter Members.

[Visual Basic]

public class ResXFileRef.Converter extends TypeConverter

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.

A ResXFileRef.Converter provides the object the ResXFileRef refers to. For example, if the ResXFileRef is "xplogo.bmp;System.Drawing.Bitmap, System.Drawing", then calling the ConvertFrom method of the converter will return a Bitmap, not a ResXFileRef.

For more information about type converters, see the TypeConverter base class and Implementing a Type Converter.

Note   Typically, you do not directly create an instance of an ImageIndexConverter. Instead, call the GetConverter method of TypeDescriptor. For more information, see the examples in the TypeConverter base class.
