NetworkInterface::Description Property

 

Gets the description of the interface.

Namespace:   System.Net.NetworkInformation
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

Property Value

Type: System::String^

A String that describes this interface.

The description is human-readable text that typically describes the interface vendor, type (for example, Ethernet), brand, and model.

The following code example displays a summary for all interfaces on the local computer.
