NetworkCredential::UserName Property

 

Gets or sets the user name associated with the credentials.

Namespace:   System.Net
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

Property Value

Type: System::String^

The user name associated with the credentials.

The following code example uses the UserName property to set the user name associated with the credentials.

// Create an empty instance of the NetworkCredential class.
NetworkCredential^ myCredentials = gcnew NetworkCredential( "","","" );
myCredentials->Domain = domain;
myCredentials->UserName = username;
myCredentials->Password = passwd;

// Create a WebRequest with the specified URL.
WebRequest^ myWebRequest = WebRequest::Create( url );
myWebRequest->Credentials = myCredentials;
