BinaryReader.ReadUInt16 Method

Reads a 2-byte unsigned integer from the current stream using little endian encoding and advances the position of the stream by two bytes.

This method is not CLS-compliant. For more information about CLS compliance, see What is the Common Language Specification.

Return Value

A 2-byte unsigned integer read from this stream.

Exceptions

Exception Type Condition
EndOfStreamException The end of the stream is reached.
ObjectDisposedException The stream is closed.
IOException An I/O error occurs.

Remarks

BinaryReader stores this data type in little endian format.
