CultureAndRegionInfoBuilder::ThreeLetterWindowsLanguageName Property

 

Gets or sets the three-letter code for the language as defined in the Windows API.

Property Value

Type: System::String^

The three-letter code for the language as defined in the Windows API.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The value in a set operation is null.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The length of the value in a set operation does not range from 1 to 8 characters.

ArgumentException

The value in a set operation contains a character that is not in the range "a" to "z", "A" to "Z", or "0" to "9".

NotSupportedException

In a set operation, the current custom culture is a replacement culture.

The ThreeLetterWindowsLanguageName property corresponds to the ThreeLetterWindowsLanguageName property.

This property returns the same value as the Windows API method GetLocaleInfo with the LOCALE_SABBREVLANGNAME value. For example, the three-letter code for English (United States) as defined in the Windows API is "enu".
