PrintDocument::OnEndPrint Method (PrintEventArgs^)

Raises the EndPrint event. It is called when the last page of the document has printed.

Namespace:   System.Drawing.Printing
Assembly:  System.Drawing (in System.Drawing.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnEndPrint(
	PrintEventArgs^ e
)

Parameters

e
Type: System.Drawing.Printing::PrintEventArgs^

A PrintEventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnEndPrint method allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class. The OnEndPrint method is also called if the printing process is canceled or an exception occurs during the printing process.

When a derived class calls the OnEndPrint method, it raises the EndPrint event by invoking the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnEndPrint in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnEndPrint method so that registered delegates receive the event. This method is a good place for uninitialization.
