SearchResultEntryCollection::CopyTo Method (array<SearchResultEntry^>^, Int32)

 

The CopyTo method copies the entire collection to a one-dimensional array, starting at the specified index of the target array.

Namespace:   System.DirectoryServices.Protocols
Assembly:  System.DirectoryServices.Protocols (in System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.dll)

void CopyTo(
	array<SearchResultEntry^>^ values,
	int index
)

Parameters

values
Type: array<System.DirectoryServices.Protocols::SearchResultEntry^>^

A one-dimensional array that is the destination of the elements copied from the SearchResultEntryCollection object.

index
Type: System::Int32

The zero-based index of values where copying begins.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

values is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

index is less than zero.

ArgumentException

values is multidimensional

-or-

The number of elements in the source SearchResultEntryCollection is greater than the available space from index to the end of the destination values.

InvalidCastException

The type of the source SearchResultEntryCollection cannot be cast automatically to the type of the destination array.
