DirectoryAttributeCollection::CopyTo Method (array<DirectoryAttribute^>^, Int32)

 

The CopyTo method copies the entire collection to a one-dimensional array, starting at the specified index of the target array.

Namespace:   System.DirectoryServices.Protocols
Assembly:  System.DirectoryServices.Protocols (in System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.dll)

void CopyTo(
	array<DirectoryAttribute^>^ array,
	int index
)

Parameters

array
Type: array<System.DirectoryServices.Protocols::DirectoryAttribute^>^

A one-dimensional array that is the destination of the elements copied from the DirectoryAttributeCollection object.

index
Type: System::Int32

The zero-based index of array where copying begins.

Exception

Condition

ArgumentNullException

array is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

index is less than zero.

ArgumentException

array is multidimensional

-or-

The number of elements in the source DirectoryAttributeCollection is greater than the available space from index to the end of the destination array.

InvalidCastException

The type of the source DirectoryAttributeCollection cannot be cast automatically to the type of the destination array.
