PropertyValueCollection::Item Property (Int32)

Gets or sets the property value that is located at a specified index of this collection.

Namespace:   System.DirectoryServices
Assembly:  System.DirectoryServices (in System.DirectoryServices.dll)

public:
property Object^ default[
	int index
] {
	Object^ get(int index);
	void set(int index, Object^ value);
}

Parameters

index
Type: System::Int32

The zero-based index of the property value.

Property Value

Type: System::Object^

The property value at the specified index.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The property value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

IndexOutOfRangeException

The index is less than zero (0) or greater than the size of the collection.

In C#, this property is the indexer for the PropertyValueCollection class.

In JScript, you can use the default indexed properties defined by a type, but you cannot explicitly define your own. However, specifying the expando attribute on a class automatically provides a default indexed property whose type is Object and whose index type is String.
