Returns the data value in the specified column as a SQL Server type.

Type: System::Int32

The zero-based column ordinal.

Return Value

Type: System::Object^

The value of the column expressed as a SqlDbType.

GetSqlValue returns data using the native SQL Server types. To retrieve data using the .NET Framework types, see GetValue.
