OracleLob::CanWrite Property

 

Always returns true, regardless of whether the LOB supports writing or not.

Property Value

Type: System::Boolean

Always returns true, regardless of whether an opened or undisposed LOB supports writing or not, false if a LOB is closed or disposed.

To write to the LOB, you must have retrieved the LOB using the FOR UPDATE clause in the SQL SELECT statement, and you must have started a local transaction.
