IDbConnection::ConnectionTimeout Property

Gets the time to wait while trying to establish a connection before terminating the attempt and generating an error.

Property Value

Type: System::Int32

The time (in seconds) to wait for a connection to open. The default value is 15 seconds.

A value of 0 indicates no limit to the wait time, rather than no wait time, and should be avoided in a ConnectionString because it would cause the connection attempt to wait indefinitely.
