PropertyFilterAttribute::Match Method (Object^)

Returns a value that indicates whether the property filter options of the current PropertyFilterAttribute .NET Framework attribute match the property filter options of the provided object.

Namespace:   System.ComponentModel
Assembly:  WindowsBase (in WindowsBase.dll)

public:
virtual bool Match(
	Object^ value
) override

Parameters

value
Type: System::Object^

The object to compare. This object is expected to be a PropertyFilterAttribute.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if a match exists; otherwise, false.

For attributes that store flags, which is true for PropertyFilterAttribute, a Match result may be different from an Equals result. For example, a filter of SetValues matches a filter of All, because All is a merge of all filter values.
