PropertyChangedEventHandler Delegate

[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]

Represents the method that will handle the INotifyPropertyChanged::PropertyChanged event.

Namespace:  System.ComponentModel
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

No code example is currently available or this language may not be supported.

Parameters

sender
Type: System::Object
The source of the event.
e
Type: System.ComponentModel::PropertyChangedEventArgs
A PropertyChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.

INotifyPropertyChanged::PropertyChanged events are primarily used with data binding to ensure that updates to the source data pass to the bound UI properties. For more information, see Data binding for Windows Phone 8.

When you create a PropertyChangedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event-handler method is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate.
