ITypeDescriptorContext::OnComponentChanged Method ()

Raises the ComponentChanged event.

Namespace:   System.ComponentModel
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

void OnComponentChanged()

Use the OnComponentChanged method to send notification that an instance of an object has changed.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnComponentChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnComponentChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnComponentChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
