ValidationAttribute::GetValidationResult Method (Object^, ValidationContext^)

 

Checks whether the specified value is valid with respect to the current validation attribute.

ValidationResult^ GetValidationResult(
	Object^ value,
	ValidationContext^ validationContext
)

Parameters

value
Type: System::Object^

The value to validate.

validationContext
Type: System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations::ValidationContext^

The context information about the validation operation.

The GetValidationResult method checks validity without throwing an exception.
