XmlDictionary::TryLookup Method (String^, XmlDictionaryString^%)

 

Checks the dictionary for a specified string value.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Runtime.Serialization (in System.Runtime.Serialization.dll)

virtual bool TryLookup(
	String^ value,
	[OutAttribute] XmlDictionaryString^% result
)

Parameters

value
Type: System::String^

String value being checked for.

result
Type: System.Xml::XmlDictionaryString^%

The corresponding XmlDictionaryString, if found; otherwise null.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean

true if value is in the dictionary, otherwise false.

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

value is null.
