Marshal.WriteInt16 Method (IntPtr, Int32, Int16)

For apps that target Windows Phone OS 7.0 and 7.1, do not use any members of this type in your app. If you do, your code will throw a MethodAccessException. This type is security-critical, which restricts it to internal use by the .NET Framework for Windows Phone class library.

Writes a 16-bit signed integer value into unmanaged memory.

Parameters

ptr
Type: System.IntPtr
The base address in unmanaged memory to write.
ofs
Type: System.Int32
An additional byte offset, added to the ptr parameter before writing.
val
Type: System.Int16
The value to write.
