_Assembly::GetName Method (Boolean)

 

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the GetName method.

Namespace:   System.Runtime.InteropServices
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

AssemblyName^ GetName(
	bool copiedName
)

Parameters

copiedName
Type: System::Boolean

true to set the CodeBase to the location of the assembly after it was shadow copied; false to set CodeBase to the original location.

Return Value

Type: System.Reflection::AssemblyName^

An AssemblyName for this assembly.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The GetName method gets an AssemblyName for this assembly, setting the codebase as specified by the copiedName parameter.
